I'm a first time roo'er and greyhound bus rider and have a couple quick questions for anyone who can answer...How many bags is each customer allowed to have? On the website it says 2 checked bags, and 2 carry on bags. So that's a total of 4 right? Or do you have to check your carry on bags? Also, about how big are the storage spaces inside the greyhound? Thanks in advance.

Checked and carry on are different. Checked goes under the bus. I think the carry on is the same size as an airplane allows. about the size of an average laptop bag. You should call them though and they will give you the exact dimensions.

when i moved from NY to TN i used Greyhound. i had four bags. i had two big bags under the bus and a backpack and a big purse. the top storage is not that big at all. i just held onto my stuff, but that might have just been b/c i was a girl traveling alone. have a safe trip, i am sure you'll meet lots of interesting people!

watch out though, last time i went on a greyhound they went through my backpack and suitcase thoroughly. of course i was pretty high when i got there and probably looked sketchy as hell, but they were waaay worse than the airport security even
