me and some friends will be attending bonnaroo for the first time this year and will be coming from ohio. we were orginally planning on trying to arrive before 9 am and wait until gates open or whatever, but will that really help us get a better spot closer to the stages?
i'm kind of torn based on what i've read, so any advice would help. thanks!
Arrival time doesn't seem to correlate to camping location. The one exception is if you get there REAL early (like Wed) you'll get sent out to BFE (which some people like but most think is just a hassle). Coming a little before 9 is fine, you'll spend a few hrs in line anyway.
Last year we stayed at a hotel in White House, TN and got to Bonnaroo right around 9 am. Waited for about 3 - 4 hours and got in a pretty decent spot along Shakedown. You'll be fine.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
