I suck at packing! I'm a single, working, mother of 2...so yeah I don't get out much.Tonight I'm trying to pack. I'm coming down from NH and man I wanna bring my whole closet. argh. I'm gonna have 4 people in my car so, I wanna keep my crap to a minimum
so far I've got 3 pair of pants, 4 shorts, 2 pair pj's, about 20 shirts and tank tops, 100 pair of socks,8 bra's, 6 pair of underware(I figure I can just turn those inside out when dirty...J/K) 4 towels, 40 washcloth's, a rain jacket, and a sweater. what the heck am I doing wrong? I wanna be comfortable but, I don't wanna take up all the room!

Holy crap 20 shirts, and 100 pair of socks??? Damn I am glad I am a guy, I haven't put any thought into clothing at all, but I am for damn sure it will be about 1/10 of that!

Three pairs of shorts, one skirt, one pair of socks (for while in the tent), flipflops and a few (3-4) tank tops should be fine. Everyone is dirty by Saturday anyway.

Allow me to break it down for you: 3 pairs of pants + 4 pairs of shorts + 2 skirts = 9 bottoms / 4 days = 2.25 bottoms per day 20 shirts and tank tops / 4 days = 5 tops per day 20 pairs of socks / 4 days = 5 pairs per day 8 bras / 4 days = 2 bras per day 6 pairs of underwear / 4 days = 1.5 pairs per day 4 towels / 4 days = 1 towel per day 40 washcloths / 4 days = 10 washcloths per day
Now check out the ratios I calculated for you...the only one I can see being reasonable is the underwear ratio. Personally, I'm packing maybe 3 pairs of shorts at most, 4 shirts, 4 (maybe 5) pairs of underwear, 1 sweatshirt in case it gets cold, 1 towel, 2 washcloths, and 0 socks. Unless you plan on rolling in the mud approximately 4-5 times per day, I think you've packed just a bit much. Bonnaroo isn't a fashion show, in fact, if you were to pack no clothes whatsoever and just went naked (or even wore the clothes you came in the whole time) you'd probabaly fit in perfectly fine. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be mean, merely rationalizing your packing list. Hope this helps.
yea i fit all my clothes into the smallest suitcase we had in the house. its like a mini suitcase for kids. and i'm leaving tomorrow morning for memphis to party before roo!

man o man o man - that is a lot - I am bringing 3 pairs of shorts, 2 skirts, 4 tank tops, 1 pair of jeans, underwear, bras (for the same reason), towels, washcloths, sandals and that is about it for clothing. Plan on buying a few t-shirts while I am there.

I'm glad to know that I am not the only one who overpacks. I'm male and love outfits. Morning outfit, day clothes, night duds to dance in til dawn. I'm also bringing hats and shoes like crazy.

i am bringing more skirts than pants, i like to get in on the airflow...3 skirts, 2 shorts, 5 tanks, 2 t's, 1 l/s t, 1 bra (maybe i'll wear it...) 1 hoodie, 1 jean, sneakers + 4 pair socks, sandals, crocs, 7 undies (that's where you need the xtras), 1 bathing suit, and a couple towels

holy crap.
imo, you need: 1 pair of pants, 2 shorts, 5 shirts, 5 socks, 1 bra, 5 underwear, 1 towel, 2 washcloths and a rain jacket. maybe a sweater. 2 pair of comfortable shoes would be a good idea too.

No bras here. bikini tops all the way. Definitely a couple of long sleeve shirts for the night. I'm a total wuss when it gets the least bit chilly. 64 this morning in Nashville, Brrrr.
