I had originally planned on just wearing some old tennies to 'roo but then lo and behold I was at REI today and found the perfect 'roo shoe..
The Keen Taos
They are comfy, breathable, waterproof, and sturdy. I wore them around all day and so far I love them. I wouldn't have bought them had I not thought I could use them on a weekly basis. They are more pricy than crocs, but I tried on a pair of caymens at REI and thought they felt somewhat similar to the same rubber used on the inside of scuba flippers...which imho is not something I consider comfortable.

what are good shoes to bring?? i am a girl... i would assume flip flops are out?? is it going to be muddy even if it hasnt rained from showers, water & drinkage spillage or?? should i just wear some capris with tennis & a tank top or ?? what do you suggest? anyone! :-)

I have light blue. there is an entire thread dedicated to the croc tho anyways yeh. while they arent exactly gorgeous, they are seriously one of the most comfy shoes ever!
I just bought a pair of light blue crocs for gardening yesterday!! I should bring them! Don't your feet get wet tho cause of the holes? I'm wearing my blue and orange 'Roos to 'Roo!
If you are wearing flip flops, make sure they are decent ones. In '04, I had a really cheap pair, and they tore up the skin between my toes! Then, of course, I got sand in my toes, and things got worse!

uhg that sounds like my personal nightmare!! shoes are very important to me ;D
