I stopped by the tent only group and talked dmbfanintn ears off ;D. I've been thinking about giving tent only a try this year. My buddy and I have always camped by the car. Being there will be kinda weird I'm used to strapping the tarps to the car for shade.
i was in the tent-only group last year.. hmm.. wonder if i met you. you should go VIP and come hang out. :-) regardless, we should let the people in both groups know where the others plan to try to be so that we can all come and say hello!

My girlfriend/now fiancé Holly and I are definelty doing the camping only group again. We had a blast hanging out with everyone. We are probablly going to bring a group of 6 or so this time. Our friend we went with last year, Lindsay, wants to go, but is leaving for Africa to join the peace corp on June 6th . College Students=No VIP, but I look forward to seeing everyone again in June.

Also, It won't be the same without the baby flag. Someone will need to make another flag or have Leo loan his to us.

Count me in for a VIP meet-up. I'd also like to walk over to tent only and mee the other half of you guys. My only regret last year was not meeting more people.
It kinda looks like Leo may not return like he hinted last year, so I will stay behind (taking one for the team) and hold down the fort. I hate not to have the Inforoo Camp going, even if some of you are jumping ship to the VIP. This also gives us (inforoo peeps and guests) a place to meet each other or just chill and listen to the main stage since it is close by. I will post for the Camp Inforoo probably shortly after the lineup announcments have been made.
Glad to see you'll be sticking to the GA with me. I was beginning to feel like the only broke music junkie around here!
As a newbie, I just wanted to say I think you guys got a really beautiful community here and I think it's really cool that people are planning on meeting up at the roo.
we did last year, had quite a big group actually. was one of the best weekends of my life! ;D
I second that! Definitely one of the best weekends of my life too. Pleasant surprise since I didn't 'know' any of the Inforoo crowd prior to showing up that weekend.

I was in the Inforoo tent-only section last year and I'll be back there again this year since I am now a broke grad student. Glad to see you two will be back there also.
Just like last year, tent only camping will depend on where my car gets parked. However, knowing there was a group to come camp with if we were way out(and not know who was really going to go with me) made planning for roo a better experience. I only came by a few time - sometimes nobody was @ the camp; if you can believe that. However, I've been told the chairs and torch fuel were put to good use! So, if someone steps up and says there will be an Infooroo Tent Only area I'll volunteer to brings some community chairs and such for those who are flying in, etc.
ya i came through thursday night and it was quiet as could be. it was late though. after the huge tank party at giant panda guerilla dub squad(or something like that)
The Tent only Inforoo group last year was so awesome.. one of my favorite memories as well. :-)
Although I'm getting a VIP group together, I still DEFINITELY plan to come to tent-only to visit everyone!! Once we get it all straightened out and the time is near, then we'll have to let everyone know where the two groups will be and what the flags and such will be so that we can find eachother!!
Although I'll be car camping with a bunch of people again, I will definitely have to swing by camp inforoo in tent only and meet some people this year.

amen to that one - that's one of the reasons i'm able to do VIP this year, baby! get all my big financial hits out of the way while i actually have some dollars in the bank. [and plus pick up some new chairs and other goodies for the campsite!] ;D

Yes!! Same reason I'm able to do VIP this year as well. I also bought a big old 8 person tent w. a 5 foot screened in floorless "porch". I'm excited!

i don't know how many of my friends will back out of going this year, needless to say i'll be in tent only, if everyone backs out i'll be camping with you if not i'll def swing by. only time will tell a few weeks at most, who's going or not

Greets to the "Dirty til Sunday" crew from last year (and everyone else). Sorry I've been so quiet lately, I just got off a ship after spending about 7 weeks in the Pacific. I'm not sure if I can make it this year (I REALLY want to), I prob won't know for a while. If I can make it I'm definitely down for another Camp Inforoo in the tent area. I probably won't be able to organize it again (it kinda got big quick last year), but honestly, there's not a whole lot of planning to do. If the tent area is set up the same way, just choose a campground and plan on meeting at a flag. If I come I'll bring the baby flag, if I can't I promised LIGuy last year that I'd get it to him to fly. Anyways, camping w/ everyone was a blast last year, hope to be there this year. I'll be around the board pretty regularly now that I'm back on land.
As a first-timer, I am thinking about the VIP tickets. Can someone tell me what is really included and not included (the website is a little vague). Do you still camp in your own tent? Is the food and beer really free? etc etc etc
