I was in the Inforoo group last year and met up at the tent only camp we had set up with Leo. I was wondering if it's going to be in action this year, and if Leo is still around.
I looked around on the board a bit, but I didn't see any information.
Also, is there anyone that is planning to go VIP this year? I'm thinking it'd be nice, but I don't know if any of my friends would actually pay it. Perhaps we can form a VIP group as well? Just thoughts!
i'm pretty sure we're gonna go tent only. VIP is out of the question as it is too too expensive and quite frankly not what bonnaroo is all about in my opinion. but to each his/her own.

It kinda looks like Leo may not return like he hinted last year, so I will stay behind (taking one for the team) and hold down the fort. I hate not to have the Inforoo Camp going, even if some of you are jumping ship to the VIP. This also gives us (inforoo peeps and guests) a place to meet each other or just chill and listen to the main stage since it is close by. I will post for the Camp Inforoo probably shortly after the lineup announcments have been made.

Your right Bonnaroo is about great music, and great times. Which can also be found in VIP. If you can afford it then why would you not want to do it?

Joel and Chris need to make little "halfway house" tents (as we tried to talk them into at vegoose - and it seems it worked - yay!) in tent-only, so they still have the option of going home, but also the option of staying and enjoying the camping festivities all night if they want.
I'm really sad that Leo has not been posting yet this year (and that that probably does imply he is not going as he mentioned the possibility before), and camp inforoo will definitely not be the same with out the baby flag or him!
If we had to pick capable hands to hold up the tradition though, I could think of better ones than Jay, Joel and Chris!

I'm thinking that VIP would be good this year not really because of showers (baby wipes are just fine, and being smelly and gross is definitely part of the Bonnaroo experience!) but because of the free food, water, and beer. I racked up a LOT on those things last year. Plus so many people said that in VIP they were able to enjoy it much better because they had so much more energy.
I'm just not sure what I'll do! I really enjoyed being part of then Inforoo group last year in Tent-Only and I'd love to be able to meet up with everyone again and get a plan going, like last year.
I'm weighing out my options for the VIP and I guess I'll ultimately decide when I'd rather do when the VIP tickets are released and when I see if anyone is actually willing to pay such a pretty price tag along with me.. I wish they weren't sold in pairs!
As a newbie, I just wanted to say I think you guys got a really beautiful community here and I think it's really cool that people are planning on meeting up at the roo.

I am definitely going, and although I LOVED tent-only I think I'd like to try VIP one time and see how it is, so I think I'm going to go for it. Money was the only thing holding me back, but then I had to cancel a cruise I was supposed to go on because of work, so I got some unexpected money back. Alisa is definitely set on VIP (she's the one persuading me!). Jay was thinking about VIP also, but he is not part of a pair either so maybe you should talk to him. Jason also said he's definitely going but not sure if he's going VIP or not. It seems there's a bunch of other inforoo people that weren't camped with us who will be in vip though.
As far as other people who were with us and whether they are going at all... I don't think anyone on here has heard from Leo, Crystal has been MIA but probably she'll be around here closer to roo, Bob and Mel (who are getting married!) I think said they're not sure either, Jen has to check with school/teaching and if she goes, she is definitely going tent-only, and yeah.... most of the others don't seem to be on here yet, so it's still up in the air... but I'm sure there will be an inforoo group in both places

That's great! I expected all of you to go back to Tent-only again this year.
We should definitely get together an e-mail list of who is planning to go VIP this year and would like to meet up.. like what we did with Leo last year for Tent-only. That way we can get a little community together again and all have a great time.
PLUS if we get together the info. on who is wanting to do the meet up in VIP, then those of us that have a third person in our group may be able to come together and split the tickets up since they are sold strictly in pairs.
We can compile a list of email addresses along with arrival times and all of the other information you'd normally get. Perhaps even the phone tree again this year. We'd need to decide on the location and flag (or other sign) as well, as the time gets closer and the maps are released.
As a newbie, I just wanted to say I think you guys got a really beautiful community here and I think it's really cool that people are planning on meeting up at the roo.
It was great meeting up last year. Not only did we get to meet some great people and have a big fun group to hang out with, but we also had our own little community and people to watch out for eachothers stuff. Everyone was very generous and laid back, and it made for such a fun time! You know you are of course welcome to join the meet up!!

By setting up a tent, my objective is to catch the early show's that I've missed in years past due to draggin' butt around the house after I wake. Sure I can hear the main stage from my front porch, but it's nothing like being in the thick of it.

Okay - I do plan to try and get a group together for VIP this year. I suppose I'll assume the position since I mentioned it. I'll try to coordinate and go about it how it was done last year for Tent-only.

would be nice if they set it up as a minimum of two tix purchased. as opposed to doing them in sets of two.

I stopped by the tent only group and talked dmbfanintn ears off ;D. I've been thinking about giving tent only a try this year. My buddy and I have always camped by the car. Being there will be kinda weird I'm used to strapping the tarps to the car for shade.
