This may be an incredibly dumb question, but here goes. Are there many vegetarian options available at Bonnaroo? My girlfriend and I stopped eating meat a couple of months after last year's Roo and were wondering if we should bring more food with us (we usually rely pretty heavily on venders) than usual. Not really looking for veggie options in past years, we've never really noticed the extent of the availability/variety. Like I said... i'm sure it's probably going to be a really stupid question in hindsight, but I thought I should ask.

i'm a vegetarian, the last roo i ate nothing but clif bars and hummus and fallafel wraps and i must say the fallafel wraps were delicious, anyone else have the jaffa fallafels? as far as vegetarian options they didn't have a wide variety, but i've never been too many places that had a wide variety of meatless entrees
Another thumbs up. I rely 100% on the vendors (and not in Shakedown either) and had three different veggie meals a day. All tasty, mostly wholesome (funnel cakes excepted) and to my mind, not overpriced.

my friend was a first timer last year and he's vegan, he had zero problem finding food and at the end said he had money left over because he spent less than he expected.

my "date" last year is a vegetarian and she was worried about not being able to find food. but once we got there, it hit us that we were in hippie central and veg food was everywhere. Since last 'roo I have gone vegetarian and I am planning on getting all of my food from vendors this year. don't sweat it.
I just found out that the house I am moving into ( a co-op with a ton of people living there) is a vegetarian house. So, no more meat for me. I guess I'll go for it finally, and become a convert.
That was irrelevant, I just wanted to point out that I am now a vegetarian by location.

My wife is a vegetarian and I cook almost all our meals, so I'm a vegetarian at home (although she does eat some fish). But when we eat out, I do the omnivore thing. I'm sure it's much healthier than when I was single and a meat/potatoes dude.
When grilling season rolls around I do like to cook meat on the grill, but I always throw a couple of spicy black-bean burgers on there for her. It wouldn't have worked out for us if she was hard-core vegan, but I really expanded my cooking skills going the veggie route.
i'm not a vegetarian, but at 'roo and on camping trips i try to eat a mostly vegetarian diet...less chance of getting sick and it's a little cheaper and leaves me to spend money on better things.
I also don't eat meat. I recently started eating dairy products again, but at Bonnaroo least year it was strict Veganism for me, and I had NO problems. There are so many wonderful options..
I recommend the black bean falafel wraps you can find around. SO good, and BIG!
