Ok i'm a first time roo'er this june and i was wondering if a group of my friends were to come in two different cars, could it be arranged that we camp next to each other????
ya if you get into line together you can camp together. when your getting you bracelets just let them know the car behind you is with you and they will let you pull ahead a bit and wait while they check them in. if anyone trys to split you up directing traffic let them now and they will keep you together. thats been my experience and all 3 years ive been we had more then 1 car.

We went in two cars, arrived together and they parked us behind each other (which wasn't going to work for our tarp etc), so we talked to the nice people next to us and we moved our cars so ours could be next to each other.

*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
we had two cars and we had lots lots lots of room. We had this plan, to as soon as we park, to jump down and start laying tarps. It was ridicolous, i didnt even put the car in park, and the girls i was with were flipping down tarps, i was like DAMN!!!! needless to say, we had a LOT of room, it was sweet

mikede that is the way to do it. Plus if the parking guy try's to pack u in don't let him. The parking guy tried to pack us in big time (we were in the rv section) ....but we just said this isn't going to work and he was really cool said no problem and gave us more room......
my first year in 05 we had about 6 or 7 cars with us and we all made it next to each other.. like everyone said, just talk to people and they will help you out. Bonnaroo is a big family once you get in!
Also, I don't know how many people you're bringing or how far you're traveling, but you might want to look into renting a van. That's what we've done the 2 years we've gone, and it works great. It saves on wear and tear on your car, there's lots of space to pack stuff, and everyone is in one vehicle, so it's less driving time for everyone. Coming from PA, it's a must for us. Just a thought.
The first year it was a mini-van and we had 5 people. And I think it came to a little over a hundred a person. Then last year we got a full size van with 6 people and it was like 60-70 bucks or so. But we got a good deal on the van, through a friend.
Yea we have had up to 9 cars rollin in from Atlanta i think it was in 04. We put numbers on each car with shoe polish and everyone had to stay in order the whole way. We all camped next to each other on a corner lot and had a blast! Like everyone has said, just enter the gates together and you should be fine, and dont let the parking guys push you around. This costs too much money to be upset from the get go!!
