I keep hearing about the discounted beer prices for VIP ticket holders. What has been the price difference in the past? (For say a normal Bud Light plastic bottle)
Trying to figure out how much money I would save on Beer by going VIP.
why not jst bring your own beer and be uber sneaky about bringing it into Centeroo. Just bring like 10 Pringle cans into Centeroo. That wouldn't be unusual

I was getting brews at the Brooers' tent. If they deny you, some other stand with sell it to you. And if no one will distribute to you, either: a): Remind them this is Bonnaroo, not a convienience store in white suburbia. b): Give the vendor a tip. c): Ask one of the many curteous concert-goers to help you out.

I didnt get carded, but i didnt get much beer. Even if i did, i really didnt have my id on me, and i think thats the case for a lot of other people too, so they're a little more lenient with it. Dont know about the discount though.

My brother went a few years ago, so it might have changed. But I think that he said that the difference was 2 bucks, or something around that. Not a big difference, but I think I remember him saying that VIPs drank free Thursday night.
I didnt drink much beer in Centeroo, maybe like 5-6 a day, I kept going to the campsite and drinkin between shows. If I remember ight it was 5 dollars for a tallboy in centeroo, not bad compared to other concerts.

I never bought a beer in Centeroo, always snuck it in
PERFECT fit...I can't remember if I was able to stack 2 or 3 (i'm thinking only 2), but they diameter was perfect. The only problem was that the moisture started wearing down the can after a couple of trips.

supposedly theres a new law in texas that says if your door is unlocked they can walk into a party. also they can go into your backyard if they want without permission.
i don't care because i don't do 'parties'. if i want to get drunk i'd rather not do it with 50 people i don't like around and then have the police show up.

Mock it all you want. If the jam cruise incident and Coparusa never happened, things might be different. Unfortunately, they did happen and we're trying to insulate (in our own little way) the board members and the festival in general, from unnecessary scrutiny.
i'm not trying to mock it bro. on some of the other threads here i've gone on record saying i think people -do- use too many blatant drug references.
why do double standards exist in our world? why is it ok to have a thread talking about drinking underage (illegal) at 'roo? why is it ok to have a thread talking about vending at 'roo without buying a vending license from SF/AC (maybe not illegal, though not paying any sales tax to TN I'm sure -is- illegal)?
don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to be a killjoy and ruin everyone else's fun by making it so noone can talk about anything remotely illegal on the board. but, and many comedians all over the world do this (not that i necessarily consider myself one), i'm just trying to use humor to expose some of the wrongs in the world and get people thinking about them. i don't find -anything- remotely funny about what happened to the poor souls on Jam Cruise or Coparusa, and my heart truly goes out to them.

Cops know what goes on at Bonnaroo. Its the same with any other festival. If they are gonna bust people, they are gonna do it even if people aren't talking about illegal stuff on some message board. It would be a shame if they did have a huge scale bust at Bonnaroo, because there are more important things they should be focusing on like murder and theft. With what happened last year at Wakarusa, I think that Superfly and AC will take extra precautions to make sure that the cops don't do anything like that at Bonnaroo. But I highly doubt that a few threads on a message board will be the cause of that, if that does happen, which it probably won't (knock on wood).
I see your point but please try and see ours. What do you think AC/Superfly or the cops would deem more serious? More specific, what do you think is a bigger deal: Selling Smokes or dealing drugs? What we are trying to avoid is large discussions about "what drug is better" or "this drug was great you need to try it". Along with that comes a reputation of a place where drugs are openly discussed....drawing law enforcement eventually (I would think) Also the more times they ar e mentioned the better chance we show up in a Bonnaroo+Drugs type Google search. Do you really think there is a valid comparison there?
Your missing the point! WE DO NOT THAT REPUTATION!!! whether it leads to busts or not. Whether law enforcement looks here or not, whether AC or Superfly looks here or not, WE DO NOT WANT IT DISCUSSED HERE.

Best thing to do... Put said beer in a bag of some sort that wont easily give away the beer inside. THen get one buddy to go into centeroo with a empty red plastic cup and have him throw it over the wall from inside centeroo to the outside once he gets in. THen when you see the red cup thrown over the wall, check for people that might foil said plan and when the coast is clear gently toss the beer in the bag over the wall and go into centeroo and drink up
