Ok..this will be our first time at any type of festival. I am on the fence about camping. While I am not a girly-girl..I do appreciate a clean bathroom and a hot shower...not sure if I can tough it out for 4 days!!! With that said....for anyone who stays in the hotels and are day parking..are you allowed to put up shade tents by your cars? The biggest downside I see about staying at the hotel is not having a place of your own to go during the day. Thoughts??
I can't say they definitely do not allow shade tents, however last year I did not see any. They also pack the cars in Day Parking like sardines, just like most other large concerts I've ever been to, so you probably wouldn't have much space to do something like that.

My understanding of day parking was that it is a place to leave your car and nothing more. They don't want you setting up a camp of any sort in that area or even lingering around your vehicle - they expect you to get out of your car and go into Centeroo for the rest of the day until you are ready to leave.
