Ok. I've got a question.
In the RV section, how much space do you have around each RV? I want to have several tents around for friends to sleep in. How many do you think I can fit?

last year we had two trucks, a pop up camper, two tents, and two canopys all on our little RV space, its technically like 10x20 or something like that, but it is pretty much what you make it, just get in good with your neighbors, and when the traffic directors move on, then rearrange vehicles to make more space if necessary. i love the RV camping, its worth the extra pass. in 05 when we went, we bought the pass and didnt even have a camper or RV, we just had a u-haul flatbed trailer loaded up with our shit, and they didnt care, we had like 5 tents and two canopys set up in the RV area with no RV...pretty sweet. We camped in Camp the Gimp (name the movie) both those years, the Gimp is where its at.

I know a kid who bought an RV pass last year just so he could be up close and have a huge camping area and also to avoid carrying everything into tent-only. He said it was great but I wouldn't want to spend the extra cash just for that.
^ That is a great idea, if I wasn't afraid of generator noise all nite long I would totally pay the little bit of extra cash to have a bigger camp and be closer in, the cost of VIP has always been a little steep for my taste, and more so, the taste of others coming with me.
Roolacksreality...I'd luv to hear what your friend says about camping in the RV section without an RV. We did it last year by accident (the parking guys sent us back that way). This year we bought an RV pass and a companion pass. (with four of us it's only an extra $25) We have yet to find an RV, but wouldn't mind tent camping if we have to. My question is still whether the parking guys care if you actually have an RV or not.
