Last year I brought $200, and only spent $80. I bought meals for myself and girlfriend in centeroo the whole time, but that was it really. We just refilled the Nalgene all the time for beverages. Brought my own alcohol and didn't buy any beers...

I'd say at Roo my wife and I spent maybe $50-75. We brought food and water and snacks and a nice little wood toy. We ate some food and beverages at centeroo but not too much. Almost bought a tee shirt from a vendor at What stage but didn't 'cause the price was a bit steep. but did spend about $250 in gas and then $120 at a hotel on teh way home. gas and hotel was split with a third person.
Prices definitely go down through the weekend. "Official" t shirts seemed like they were $25-30 in the Bonnaroo Merch tent. I bought mine from a guy for $12 at camp. When we were leaving Monday, I saw them for $5, and a seller came up to our car window and said he'd give everyone in the car a shirt(4) for just a J. Unfortunately, we were out, but that just goes to show you how prices come down. All of the glass comes down a lot. My friend got two pipes last year for under $10. They're nice too. I was doing pretty good on money last year until I broke down and bought a didge for my girlfriend, but I'd say it's worth it. I Usually bring $150-200 for the weekend though, excluding gas money.

I became addicted to those frozen lemonades and I had to have spent at least 100 on those alone. There was nothing more refreshing in that heat than a frozen lemonade. Although i brought food, since I was in bfe I mostly ate in Centeroo just out of laziness. I even ended up eating at the camp and then eating another snack once i got back to Centeroo just because things looked good. All in all i think i spent around 250.

I bring about 500 with me - which is way more than enough obviously. I gave up cooking for a couple years ago - takes too much time away from the music. Still with food; beers and whatever else I stumble across it seems like $300 is about what I burn through.
I'm just holding onto my refund check this year until the day before I leave for the Roo. Last Year I had a weeding the weekend before and then was the going to the beach directly from and money was really tight. This Year I want to have whim money and do whatever I want and not have it be a concern
Assuming you bring the majority of your food, drinks, and misc. consumables *cough* -- Just set yourself a budget.
A decent chunk of food is gonna run you around $10. Beer iiiiss, I think $4 or $5 a cup for the main stream brands (Budweiser, Sweetwater, etc), $1/ticket for the micro brews (which I recommend checking out, always cool stuff).
Just do some quick math, and prepare. I don't want to spend as much on food this year as I did last year, so I'm planning on carrying food in to Centeroo, like canned ravioli (it'll be warm, not hot, but it's cheap and full of carbs for energy), jerky, cliff bars, etc. Between that and my Camel Back, I'll just need beer funds, plus a bit extra for a t-shirt.
I try to get $400-600 set aside for Roo. I guess it all really depends on what it is to you. Im going on 1 trip before Roo and one after. I still look at Bonnaroo as my vacation, so priority goes there. I also like slithering through the underbelly of shakedown every year, so that plays a factor.
The SO and I spent approx $700 last year, most of it on beer [and some food] in Centeroo. Brought our other necessities with us. VIP this year should save us a bundle.

Am I the only one who finds RR annoying? She never really eats the food and EVERYTHING is ALWAYS yummy.
I find her painful to watch on tv. Haha, one time i saw a video of a couple hundred of her famous "mmmmmmm's" and it was funny but after a whiel jsut got annoying.

The frozen lemonades were life savers in the sun! Especially after our new friend from New Zeland started pouring his vodka in them for us. Fantastic. Karma for lemonade lovers!
