Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Anybody have any personal experience with this?? I'm actually pretty good with graphic design and have come up with a few logos and I was thinking of making and selling some t-shirts to help finance my trip. Any suggestions or input?
A lot of people do it. If you do, keep it out of Centeroo.
If you get caught, they will confiscate all your goods. I think they can also kick you out. So I'd keep your main stash hidden away and only carry a few at a time.
Personally, I think you'll have more fun if you don't. There's less to worry about and you won't be missing out on bands while trying to earn your cash.
Well I'm not gonna get all crazy and spend all my time doing this or anything. Hehe theres no way I'm missing the music I want to see...thats what I'm there for. Just a little bit during the day. Last year we would sit around at camp until about 2:00pm anyways so I was thinking of just casually selling some outa my tent. Last year we sold the rest of our beer on the last day for a buck a piece on shakedown and made a quick hundie.

Last year, I bought a shirt from a girl on Shakedown...it was a very, very pretty green shirt with a giant orange butterfly on it with the Bonnaroo logo, and then had all of the bands on the back in purple and blue. I never saw anyone else wearing one all weekend...they were just for girls. I really liked that, and I think that some more feminine shirts that are women's sizes would be awesome!
I bought a Family Guy bonnaroo shirt for$3 last year it was pretty cool. I remember the mountees came and confinscated this guys stickers he was sellin that had the Bonnaroo logo on it, in the campground.
they will take your stuff and your wristband. but not if you run. seriously they arent going to chase you on a horse through 100,000 people and tents. and they arent gonna pick you out of the crowd at some later time. if they say come here or let me see your wristband i think its fake just take off. they will take it and rip it off when they say they are looking to see if its real. but truthfully you shouldnt have a problem if you stick to the campgrounds. just dont do it in centeroo or on shakedown and youll be fine. make some money while your there and it isnt really work.. your meeting awesome people and alot of people will invite you in for a beer and a smoke. i have friends that sell patchwork clothes and jewlery they make and they always pay for their trip. and its a party while you work type of thing.

I call bullshit on a mounty not chasing someone. i saw a mounty chase a nos dealer who was cutting through tents hauling ass. the cowboy darted through the tents and cut him off.
^ That's gnarly. One thing is that they're on those horses so they can see over the tents. However, you can also see them coming from a mile away. Just don't be silly, keep an eye out. Use your street smarts, even if the streets are gravel and the community is only there for four days a year.

Also, tanks are about the only thing they try to keep out of bonnaroo, and what they're looking for the most. Therefor they're going to treat that a little more harshly then someone selling shirts.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
well thast shitty. what do you care if people huff gas? its not like they are gonna freak out and hurt someone or something. live an let live. they arent harming anything. sure some people fall down. most sit down to do it in the first place though. and far more people fall into other people, other tents, or just fall and get hurt due to alcohol. i dont get it other then its an insurance thing so they crack down.

Yeah, I agree. It's no worse than anything else that goes on at Bonnaroo and no one gets sh*tty about that stuff. As long as someone's not making atotal ass out of themselves, why does it matter how they're "getting there"? Like Keith said, more people cause MANY more problems as a result of drinking too much! I know that "they" frown on it and are hell-bent on stopping it but, I don't see why anyone else cares. Glass Houses?

They dont call it hippy crack for nothin. I think its pretty bad stuff. I wouldnt mind it if people could just handle themselves. It doesnt bother me that much, but its definatly something i could do without.
hardly seems a good reason to help the man. little balloons on the ground and people you dont like having fun. dosent seem like something that should be ratted out a fest. people have fun in different ways. its not harming anyone. so why mess with them? i think there are alot more problems caused by cans and bottles on the ground then there are from little balloons.

As you know, I hate to agree with you but, you are dead-on right about this one! Any given person can and will find a "legitimate" problem with any given "recreation" that they don't practice or condone themselves, for one reason or another. Sometimes it's misunderstanding, sometimes it's misinformation and sometimes it's just a transparent attempt to validate their choices and seperate themselves from the hippy "riff-raff". It just seems intrusive, judgemental and hipocritical to me.

you might wanna think about hookahville on memorial day weekend. they have walking vendor passes for 25 bucks. your not allowed at the stage or in the vending area. but you can walk and sell in the campgrounds all you want. the tix are on sale now for 50 bucks. the lineup isnt really announced yet but it should be pretty big. im thinking its gonna be a big year for hookahville.
I was thinking of just casually selling some outa my tent.
you could and you'd probably be fine. however, if you're nervous at all and don't have too much gear to haul around, i'd recommend going mobile...there's -tons- of walk-around vendors going from tent to tent. plus you know the old saying 'don't nuts where you eat'...
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

The people who have vending tents setup along the campsite streets, do they have vending passes? Or are they just normal campers like all of us who locked down a spot on the main roads?
