Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I figured since it is ticket day, that this would be as good of a time if any to get the ball rolling on this. We did this last year and it we had a pretty good turnout for the camp. This would be set up in the tent only area all the way in front and is about a 3 min walk to the festival entrance. Since the camp is close to the entrance, this is an ideal place for the other Inforoosters to meet up and relax in-between shows and what not. Me, dmbfanintn and Teine are holding down the fort this year in case you were wondering.
If you are interested just post it here and we shall compile a list on the main page here. As we get closer to roo there will be a phone tree set up in case there are snags or can't find the camping area. We also had a buddy system where we would save a spot for a fellow Inforooster, which seemed to work well.
Feel free to ask questions, share stories or pics of Camp Inforoo in here. We shall see you in June!

I'll be kickin' it in the VIP group with Stairwell (Steph), but I would still like to be on your Cool People List so I can get to know the tent-only crowd too. I doubt it is possible to know too many people at 'roo!

i will be sleeping in the van and camping with a large group. but i will be through. and depending on how many people i have with i can probably bring water and whatnot for anyone flying in and just drop it off at camp inforoo like last year. hope to meet more of you this year. i only came through a couple of times last year real quick. just too much to do. i came through camp inforoo on thursday night last year after toubab krewe and the camp was quiet and empty. plus giant panda guerilla dub squad and the raging party there was calling my name form a distance! but this year if we are still lacking a thursday latenight we should just have our own thursday latenight at camp inforoo!!!! or at least meet up there as a starting point for some late night raging throughout the campgrounds. our group is always wandering around all night thursday, drawn to loud noises and bright objects, looking for a drum circle.

Given that we're (attornaroo +1) coming in late Thursday night, I'm not sure we'll still be able to squeeze in, but it's likely that we're going to be in tent only, so I guess we'll do what we can to jump in to Camp Inforoo.

Depends on how many of my buddies wind up going this year. It's me and my friend Ryan so far, but it could be as many as 6-8 more people, in which case we won't be in tent-only. Either way, I plan on spending more than 10 mins at the camp this year. I only met a few people last year, and very briefly. I'd like to meet many many more this year.

tents were cropping up in camp inforoo all throughout the weekend, you'll have NO trouble finding a place for your tent on thursday night, and if you're really worried you can ask someone to kind of reserve some space with chairs/coolers and whatnot. we kind of did that last year, paired up people who would be arriving early with people who would be arriving late so everyone would have a place. worked out really well i thought

and even though i'll be in VIP, i also would like to be added to the honorary tent only group! i'm sure i'll drop by at least a few times throughout the weekend, how could i stay away!
I'd really like to hang with some of you. I was going to be doing tent only, so it'll be great. I'm not sure if I'm flying solo or with a partner, so it'll be nice to hang out with some like minded people. Maybe I won't feel like such a newb then.

Discussion over in the Camp Inforoo VIP thread has led some of us to start to ponder how we are all going to be able to set up camp together. I understand that the logistics would be somewhat different than tent only, but if a couple of you tent only meet-up verterans could take a peak at that thread and offer some advice we would sure be grateful.
my thought to get everyone close would be to somehow set up waves of people comming in? i know i'm new a this, but it's just a thought...and i doubt everyone will be together totally.
how about having people meet at the Wal Mart that gets so much attention in waves. Arrange who is coming in Wed. night, and caravan from the Wal Mart. Do the same thing for Thurs morning, then Thurs Afternoon. That way you should get to park by people, and you'd have some company for the haul to Tent Only.
The people who get there the earliest should set up camp somewhat temporarily and take up more space then is really necessary, and then as people filter in, kind of tighten up camp.
I might be making this way harder then necessary, but it's just a thought.
