Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
my thought to get everyone close would be to somehow set up waves of people comming in? i know i'm new a this, but it's just a thought...and i doubt everyone will be together totally.
how about having people meet at the Wal Mart that gets so much attention in waves. Arrange who is coming in Wed. night, and caravan from the Wal Mart. Do the same thing for Thurs morning, then Thurs Afternoon. That way you should get to park by people, and you'd have some company for the haul to Tent Only.
The people who get there the earliest should set up camp somewhat temporarily and take up more space then is really necessary, and then as people filter in, kind of tighten up camp.
I might be making this way harder then necessary, but it's just a thought.
Hmmmm, coordinating times when people are getting there might be a little tough, but it could work.I would be getting in kinda early, so I will more likely be one of the first people to set up camp and the buddy system seemed to work out well as far saving spots for others. Even if you came in later in the afternoon/evening on Thursday, there will be spots saved.
how is camp inforoo marked? I am in camp only this year so if I see it I would say hi.
We are working on having an flag up with Inforoo spelled out and rooster on it. Once we have it made we will make sure it is posted for everyone to see.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
we tried setting time and places to meet but i dont know if anyof them actually happened. i missed all of them. i met a couple of people at camp. i would have loved to meet more but its bonnaroo!!!! too hard to make any type of appointment. too much to do!!

You (and we in VIP) will probably need to have designated "coordinators," who can get the word out via text message. That might be the best way to communicate with so many people, who are spread out over such a large area.......once the "Bat Signal" is sent out (I'm guessing Thursday afternoon/evening would be ideal), those who are interested could head to the designated meet-up tents. How does that sound?
Well, I plan on taking people's #'s and what not. I am thinking the best time to meet up is either early evening (5-8) on Thursday or any day (Fri- Sun) during the mornings (8-11) before people start heading out for their shows. I found later in the evening (11pm-1am) is not a bad time either for people to stop by and say hi. There was really hardly a time that I found the camp totaly empty last year, which was great I thought.

This thread is gettin me pretty excited for camp inforoo, even though i spend a lot of time in centeroo. Its nice to have some guarenteed good neighbors since its only 2 of us going. I only went with 1 other person in 05', but we were lucky and one group of our neighbors was really cool.
im still all about the thursday meet up after the music stops around 1am. maybe at the fountain. it might be hard for people to find the inforoo flag at night if they arent camped there. we could meet at the fountain and then head to camp inforoo and then those who like to sit and chill can do that and those that wanna take off and rage in search of bright lights and loud noises can head out into the great unknown!!!!!!

I plan to just walk around tent-only yelling "INFOROOOOOOO!!!" until someone either pelts me with a blunt object or welcomes me to the inforoo camp.
I think the earlier in the weekend we meet up the better. either thursday afternoon or night sounds good.

you totally stole my idea ford.....
well unless you see the flag you should be prepared to do it for quite some time. tent only is fairly large and people yell things that sound alot like inforoo all the time. but i wish you luck!!! and even if you dont find it im sure you will have fun ;D

Use the Roo shuttle from the airport. It takes you right straight into the festival grounds and you dont have to wait in line!

If you have room for another newb you can put me down. My freind will probably camp near her car, but I will definately stroll down to tent only and get closer to all of the action. Im a little shy and quiet, but polite.
I was brainstorming over the weekend and thought maybe we should have two flags. One would be off of East Broaway (The road that seperates VIP/ the What Stage and the Tent only area) and the other would be in the middle of the camp. What does everyone think?

I am going to have a personal flag so I can find my way to my own tent. I also plan on attaching a dry erase message board to the flag pole so if friends stop by and I'm not there they can leave a message.
