Chalk me up for the Jerkey. It may be a little salty but I mean we had enough water last year to get us through and lord knows that protein keeps ya goin.

Ohhhh, veggie burgers are yumyum good! I've always kept mine carefully refrigerated and whatnot. But they do fine if they get a little warm? Thanks for the idea! Food just got easier!
Where do you find these!? I was going to try to figure out how to make my own, but not if I can buy them for $1.
They're out in the main Shakedown - a real vendor booth.
Here's the recipe, if you're still interested. Take 2 slices of bread, slap a piece of cheese in the middle, butter the outsides, and grill in a pan - flipping the sandwich as each side browns.

I bring a camping stove and non-perishables to cook. Works great, good tasty hot food, nothing to put in the cooler. Just gotta be careful not to spill the boiling water over my fingers again.

thanks for the help pigsnzen. the recipe was eluding me for so long. Now I don't have to worry about bringing a solar-powered skillet.

I put butter on both sides of both slices of bread. People have told me that's weird (my mom included). My girlfriend was one of them, but I made her one and she said it was great. Ended up asking for another one too.
One slice of cheese is never enough, either. Even though I'm lactose intolerant. Grin.
