its pretty big so theres usually room but im nto sure when they open it (or if they even open it. it may just be open when the gates open) and its right next to Centeroo (a couple minutes walk)
The tent only is very close to Centeroo, You have to park in GA where they direct you and walk your stuff to tent only, but leave your vehicle in GA camping where you are filed in. Distance depends on where you areparked, but you can look at in the way you get all of your walking out at the beginning of 'Roo rahter than over the weekend.
"Chicago is known as the Windy City, and Montana is called the Big Sky State, so I think that we should somehow combine the two to create the ultimate kite-flying experience. "-Mitch Hedberg
After three years in RV land my friends and I will be flying this year and camping in tent-only. I remember reading that there's unlimited space in tent only... is this true? I'm not talking about being an a$$ and taking up ungodly amounts of space, but is there enough room to go around so it isn't really an issue? Or can it get cramped?
Now that I look more closely at the picture (stolen from unplugd's signature - thanks!), I can tell it was taken on Thu in '05...a Thursday picture probably isn't the best judge of things. Sorry!

it was pretty full by the of the weekend last year, but if you get there thursday you'll have plenty of room to spread all your stuff out (within reason, of course)
it's worth it
they let people migrate over to the tent only area from BFE around 7 or 8am on thursday, if you come in later than that you're free to head over whenever.

^ its right next to centeroo so that walk isnt bad. the walk from where oyu park your car may be a whoel different story though. theres no line for tent only, you just walk right in and set up

just an FYI, last year they did not let people into the tent only area until thursday morning, if you arrive on wednesday night you will be put in BFE and have to wait until the morning to set up camp. just a heads up.

I'm really considering tent-only. I'm trying to see if anyone on this blog from Georgia would want to have an "ATL Campsite". Georgia 'Roos- check this tent if you're interested.
