??? I was just wondering...is credit acceptable for things like food and souvenirs, and stuff on shakedown? or do i need cash for that stuff? i kind of wanted to rely on credit for everything... ???
Well I've never been to a Roo before, but if they're shakedown is like any others at any other fest, shakedown transactions aren't exactly "legit." therefore cash is the only option. Besides, the guy with what you want probably doesn't have a C Card terminal in that back pack-o-treats of his.
i guess youre right about that as far as what i want....like glass, or t-shirts...but what about food, is it like...vendors? or just random people with food?

the only place i saw accepting CCs was the official merchandise tent in centeroo (shirts, band merch, etc...), and maybe the general store (overpriced camping supplies and packaged food/drinks)
I've never actually used the ATMs (I bring everything I'm going to spend ahead of time), so my observations are limited to when I was walking past the ATMs (twice a day at most). That's great news people didn't have long lines.

I always go "cash-only" because, in part, of people always saying that the cash runs-out very quickly in the ATMs.
its true. my friend last year spent 300$ on various alchaholic beverages(dn't know if it was all for himself or not) and needed to get more moeny out of the atm but they were out fo money for a long while
ps we now call my friend eer because of how much he drunk at roo
