Could someone send me the PDF access pass? I just had knee surgery two weeks ago (for the second time this year) and the trek would be difficult. Would I need anything else besides the PDF to get in?

just a reminder. dont wait til you get there to get your access status straight. get a pass from your doctor or something or take your access tag that you have on your car. they do check them at the gate. you can bring in one other vehicle. you can go to access camp on wed night with no problems at all. you will be very close to CR if you go wed instead of thursday.
there are a few access passes given out inside roo. so you can go to the pods and ask for an access pass but those are really really limited for good reasons
i saw a ton of people in access where no one in their group had any visible handicapping conditions at all, however, im sure they had a pass somehow to get in and get into access. dont plan on going to the gate and telling them something and getting into access.
a companion can get into the access gate with another person who has an accessible bracelet. you can also get into the special seating with your companion if they have an accessible pass
my buddy who goes with me is truly disabled and really needs to be close. it is hard for him to make it even with a scooter. he comes with accessible id and we have had no problem at all.
I do have a question. It says accessible vehicles are allowed a companion vehicle. With a camper/rv does that mean we have to have an rv+companion vehicle pass, or will just a regular rv pass be ok?

RV Companion Policy: RVs in the Accessible camping area may bring a companion vehicle but, like all RV patrons, must pay the companion vehicle fee. The companion vehicle must arrive immediately following the RV when entering the tollbooths. The companion vehicle must be an automobile, not another RV type vehicle. For questions regarding RVs, trailers, and the like, go to www.bonnaroo.com/festival-info/camping. RV companion autos must have the Accessible Parking sticker issued at the tollbooths or they will be towed.
Question: last year my fiance brought a wheelchair from home but this year we're considering renting from the vendor that works with Bonnaroo. Anyone have any experience with this? We know it's a bit pricey but it seems it would be easier than bringing his scooter from home.
Holy cow - Just heard back Power scooter $350 for the event, Power wheelchair $400 and manual wheelchair $200
Yeah, they're SUPER expensive on site but we actually found a home medical supply place in our town that rents manual chairs and that's what we'e used the last two years. You may be able to find someplace in your area that rents power chairs though and they can be charged at the access center.
I assume you'll be camping in Pod 4 (Access)? Perhaps we'll be neighbors!
We'll definitely be in access. The most amazing thing is that the super love bombing that I've received from the people on this board (since we found out my cancer is back) included a pre paid visa that's enough for me to rent the scooter. I love this crowd!

Inforoosters ARE awesome and I'm glad you'll be able to rent the scooter! Also, the Access team at 'Roo is so amazing so I know you'll have no problem with your rental or charging it or anything.

We can merge them if that won't cause too much confusion. Looks like the other one has only been posted in a little bit recently. Or just lock one up and make the other the official thread.

Maybe just lock the other. This is the only one that has ever had consistent info IMO.
I've got a question for everyone who has been in access in the past. I live in east Tennessee and logistically it is easier for me and my wife to go through Mcminnville Hwy to get to the farm. It adds about 40 miles to go down to Chattanooga and come up 24. Have any of you guys came in that way to get to access camping? I know the tollbooths all have a line to go to for access, but it says on the access info to come in on 24. Will I have a problem if I come in mcminnville hwy instead? Any input is appreciated.

As long as you enter through one of the two west entrances, you will be fine. We came in through the west Bushy Branch entrance last year without issue.

Thanks man! Really didn't want to add the miles to the trip.
I'll be in the powered camps again this year, just secured me spot with Laura. No volunteering this year but I'm still planning to be on the farm sometime Wednesday afternoon. Hopefully I'll have some cool neighbors like last year! (..I'm looking at you SilentEyedStorm!!)

My plan is to be there. I loved having you as a neighbor last year, too. I just got home and will be sending my dr's note to Laura asap. I'll be arriving on Tues late afternoon. It seems like it really started filling up on Thurs. Maybe I can ask David/Laura to reserve the spot next to me for you
