^^^ thanks - that is the question I came here to ask and found that it has been asked and answered - now the only question I have is will one of those small helium tanks fill a 5-6 foot balloon????
i actually did all my navigating by the numbered pod balloons, as did a lot of people i know and heard talking. it was fun because i could see where i needed to end up and had to figure out the best method back, but one night i think the balloon went down (#6, anyone confirm?)...which was fun too ;D
naturally, this made me wonder, "i wonder what would happen if by some diabolical scheme someone took them all down one night?" ???
i've had other cool thoughts about having fun getting lost too. like what if someone asked their friends to blindfold them as they drove in, drop them in centeroo, go set up camp, and then go start seeing shows, and then they could remove the blindfold and have to find their friends in order to find their campsite. there would be additional challenges as well
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

Not really true. My wife works in a lab and they have many different tanks, nitrous and oxygen included and they come in different colors. The tags or label or whatever yyou want to call it are different though.
how/where did you fill that [awesome] sky buster up?
I rented a medium sized tank from a local florist. $30 with no deposit. Pretty trusting people but I doubt other places are that cheap. Look in the yellow pages under helium.

The huge balloons I think are a little too much. But still cool if you want to spend the doe. I'm good with the homemade flagpole and putting glow in the dark things on it at night.
Look for a camouflage flag with a peace sign on it and a bright lantern. You find me and my crew.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

I'm still undecided on what to use to mark my site this year. At first I was gonna go with an inflatable 6' gumby on helium. Then it changed to a enormous wind twister on a 22' pole. THEN it changed to flying Pink Floyd flags from the 4 corners of my EZup but I can only find 3 horizontally oriented flags so now I'm back hunting for a 6' Gumby.
