nothing bad happened to us last year, but my friends' neighbors in 05 literally got shat on. apparantly my friends(a couple) were camped next to a group with a couple of girls that were first timers. well, after one of the nights, the girls returned to their campsite only to find out they had been victims of the "uni-dumper". apperantly, some w00k had entered their tent, dropped a deuce on their air matress, and then covered it up with one of their sleeping bags. and oh, they also found one of their new t-shirts they had bought over the weekend used as toilet paper!!
moral of the story....watch out for the "uni-dumper".

OMG, now I will be checking my sleeping bag for something in addition to spiders this year. That is one of the most disgusting things I have heard of in awhile.
I've never had a problem at Bonnaroo. There was an incident at moe.down two years ago, though. We came back from the last set Sunday night and found our tents had been ransacked. In addition to some cash they took my friend's CD collection, every CD he'd ever owned. He was pretty upset about that, kinda spoiled the weekend. We were camped next to some guys selling nitrous, and I have my suspicions. They were shady.
Also, someone stole my chair one year at All Good.
Yew to the uni-dumper. I would put a lock on my tent just for that. And bummer tot he cd collection. I love my cds and going to bring a good amount. I have to see hows the neighborhood like. I'm still going to bring locks but I'm definately going to work something out iwth the neighbors. I'm really friendly and a good cook. They should like me.

never had anything stolen. late one night last year I was in the tent with my date and some strangers came to our camp, asked for a beer, I said I didn't care, and they left $1 for each beer they took out of the cooler. I love the people at 'roo.

Yeah in this case I definately say lock it up, my sincerest apologies go out to your friends. I'd like to think he thought it was a porto-john but it doesn't sound like it.

Always good to have ID on you, in case you pass out or something.
BTW I used to lose my ID all the time so I've started taking copies of my ID just for this reason. At least this way if something happens to the copy it doesn't mean I have spend the day at the DMV when I get home.
