Hey everyone,
I hope you all are having a fantastic day. Is it just me or is that countdown making the wait to Bonnaroo seem much longer!! So excited!! Anyway..I'm a ovo lacto vegetarian (still eat the milk and cheese) and I know there will tons of food choices inside the festival. My question is, what kind of good energy food can I bring to my campsite?
Any kind of granola is great, loose or bars. High sugar dried fruit and complex carb grains are everything a hot and active body needs to keep going all day (along with LOTS of water.)

I'm in the same boat as you, and I'm planning on bringing some Odwalla bars, Vitamin Waters, and some home made granola (nuts, dried fruit, all that good stuff).
There's totally a lot of options outside centeroo and inside (falafels, veggie corn dogs, veggie burgers, burritos, etc). I would suggest a multi-vitamin of some sort though, because its tough to get all your vitamins when you're just trying to catch shows all day.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I'm sure that you know as well as I do, but carbs are ENERGY. You will need it.
Besides granola bars, which are the common item, I would be sure to bring mixed nuts, trail-mix, saltines, bread (for toast, PBJ, sandwichs, etc.), celery, cumbers, broccolii, and others.
It isn't hard to survive a vegi diet in the midst of B-Roo. Tell the vendors about your diet, and they will be more than obliged to help (unless it is busy- take it from a food worker).
Just don't be demading. Help yourself (and your wallet) as much as possible. Take a large cooler and try to eat out of it as much as possible.
