Tent only is grass-covered clay, like most of the site. Soft for the first few inches and packed clay the rest of the way down. The crappy, rocky sites are probably less than 25% of the total camping available.

Be on the edge of caution with the responses you get when emailing info@bonnaroo...I asked the exact same question as a friend of mine and we got very conflicting responses. Luckily, I live in Knoxville and was able to ask someone at AC when I was downtown and got the correct answer.
