So I was reading a thread, and someone asked about glowsticks and how much they'd costs... well i found this awesome site that sells like 25,000 for 250 dollars so I thought I'd share the wealth
For smaller amounts this guy seems cheaper, I've bought 2 boxes of 50 sticks from em and got them 1 week after ordering. He'll mix and match colors but it costs extra
Someone else on this forum pointed me to this store, so credit to them

That was probably me, yeah, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from that guy again, he was quick and the sticks weren't short dated (about to expire, they have a shelf life of ~2yrs). I had a problem with that long link, here's a shorter one to the same site. tinyurl.com/34epas For smaller lots, I've had good luck from these guys; www.flashlightsunlimited.com/lightsticks.htm Leo

I bought 500 bracelet glowstix mixed colors off ebay last year for around $20 and got screwed. Their brightness was very weak and even the brightest stick would be dead in about an hour. I think this year I'm gonna do a little more research and bring about 1000 of the 1.5 inch ones since they don't seem to hurt as bad if you get hit unexpectedly during the war.
I want to get an assortment. Anyone have any suggestions. I really don't want to get screwed. I'm looking for app. 800 necklaces, 400 bracelets, and very few of the tiny 1.5 inch ones you put in your mouth and stuff. Any help would be much appreciated and karma worthy.
"Disobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience and rebellion that progress has been made." Oscar Wilde (1854 - 1900), The Soul of Man Under Socialism
"You're either on the bus or off the bus." Ken Kesey
"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." Hunter S. Thompson
It is important that the retailer state that they are fresh. You don't find the fresh ones in the bargain bin. The fresh ones will last about 10 hours. It is usually stated how long they glow if it is something the retailer is proud of.
I saw several that were showing quality glow stuff like that when I was looking. I will try to search again soon and post it here.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I plan on hooking 3 of them together to make a 24" necklace and use some for bracelets. I bought 300 bracelets for about $25 through eBay from this store.

I actually found them at the local dollar store. The good, Omni-glow brand, too. They didn't have a great selection, but I picked up some ... just an idea for anyone who doesn't want to pay shipping.

I think we are talking massive quantities - I bought 500 glow bracelets for glowstick wars, decorating camp, etc.
I got my bracelets from this site. www.illuminationz.com They are do to be delivered tomorrow. I got 1,000 bracelets for about 80 bucks. I will let everyone know how they are when I get them. I think I will be giving a LOT away...

i will be personally bitchslapping anyone i see throwing their glowsticks, so beware. i never understood the point behind launching a glowstick 50 ft so that it cracks another fan in the back of the head. those things hurt... and it isn't exactly fun having to spend 1/2 a show looking out for flying glowsticks instead of enjoying the music.

Umm I think the thread you are looking for is here:
we have been through all the arguing about whether they will happen or not and what anyone will do to other people about them. Check that thread out, k?

You're going to be pretty darn busy... hopefully the good vibes will get to you and you'll forget all about this plan.
