The 5 gallon shower bags are more than enough to take a shower with. Each time I used one last year I never ran out of water. Just like nappy said, no shaving at Roo though.
the girlfriend of one of my friends just pours water from a poland spring bottle on her legs and takes the razor to it like that, right at the campsite.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

So, for these pay showers, you get a bag of water to use in a private stall?

I'm confused. ???
i don't believe the pay showers involve bags. think he was referring to those solar shower bags you can bring from home, instead.

Someone mentioned on here before that the faucets at the water stations are threaded so you could use a hose extension to have a make-shift shower. That's what I plan on doing...either that or have a little bucket of water and a washcloth and clean up in the tent or something.
I just can't see myself paying $10 for a shower when I'll get dirty as soon as I walk out of the stall!
Use the melted ice from your cooler with some liquid soap...bath time will only take you two minutes and you will feel alive again!
we would fill our solar shower with the ice water from our beer cooler every morning and use the no warsh camping soap. it was so cold and felt so good to wake up to at 8 in the morning.

Showers are overrated !!!! Try going without one for 8 days in 120 degree weather. Deodorant cant even save you and you can only feel refreshed by baby wipes for so long !!!! I tell what though I will have no problem getting to the front with no showering and deodorant !!!!...............LOL
There's a lotion called "Naturally Smooth" I think Jergans makes it. They say if you use it everyday that the hair gets finer and grows slower. I've done it and it works!
If we start now shaving won't be nearly as much of issue by June.
there needs to be a beauty tips thread, 'cause it never hurts to feel pretty
EDIT: I've learned that this lotion has been discontinued ??? You might still find it discount stores though.

I've discovered this electric razor made esp for women that works excelent on legs (and all other parts for that matter) despite the fact that the hair is alot finer than the normal hair that electric shavers are used for (like a man's beard) I cant remember who it's made by I'll have to look, but I think several manufacturers make them now ... but I thoroughly intend on bringing that... so If you hear buzzing coming from my tent it's one of two things
