I'm flying into Nashville on Wednesday, so the question is.. do I greyhound it to Manchester on Wednesday and chill in the wallyworld lot, or get a hotel in Nashville for the night and make my way to the roo shuttle in the morning..
My experience with Greyhounds have been fun... aah, High School. I'd say go for it, stay in Nashville and catch a rest, stay out of downtown though, cuz if memory serves me right, there's nothing like Nashville traffic.
Yeah, though Wally's fun, I'd stay in Nash and get a good night's sleep so as to be ready for the loooong weekend. From what I've heard, the shuttle is easy and well worth the money (never taken it myself though.)
BTW, I think Greyhound is great, if you have the time. In my Army days it was the only way I traveled.
I love greyhound, but after carefully weighing the options, I went with the shuttle, for the following reasons-
-our hotel for Wednesday night wasn't that expensive
-one last good sleep and shower before 'Roo
-not needing to lug all our junk around
-apparently the walk from the Manchester greyhound station to 'Roo is not that far, but far enough. Whereas the shuttle drops you right off at camping.
-You can buy your shuttle tickets in advance, and then you know for sure that your on, and you can go nice and early.
Just my reasons, but thought they might help, spent a long time considering. Plus, you get to hang out for a night in Nashville.
P.S. If you're on your own, and don't mind hanging out with two Canadian girls, give me a shout. I think we're at the airport Best Western. (free shuttle to the airport)
