haha sorry... but what does BFE stand for? and another question, when you go to bonnaroo do you set up your tent right next to your car? or is it like you park your car somewhere then camp else where? thanks!
Bum Fuckin' Egypt = The campsites really far away from Centeroo
do you set up your tent right next to your car? or is it like you park your car somewhere then camp else where?
You can set up right next to your car. Or you have the option of lugging your gear from where they park you to the tent only section located near the entrance to Centeroo.
Just thought I'd do a final (if very unscientific) analysis of the data. Now this is not a scientifically random sample and I'm guessing as to time based arrival and population figures but that being said, I weighted the data based on when I estimate people arrive and found your chances of going to BFE are about:
Wed before midnight (90%) Thur 12am - 6am (57%) Thur 6am - noon (17%) Thur PM (7%) Fri AM (10%) Fri PM (no data)
I actually really liked BFE. I mean, it was my first year and I have nothing else to compare it to, but we got to go through shakedown everytime we talked to centeroo and we had our little mini shakedown by our campsite. Food, ice, and portopotties were all nearby. It was great!
The two years I've been have been long walks, but 2007 was slightly longer. It took us about 20 minutes to get to Centeroo this year, as opposed to about 15 last year. I personally love being so far away from Centeroo, but maybe that's cuz I've never been close to it. I just like having everything seem like a journey: waking up in the morning, seeing the whole camp ground, and then getting into the festival, just seems like a more rewarding experience.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I always get there at around 8am, except in 03 when I got to Exit 111 at 8 but was detoured cross country and got in about 1-2pm and was parked the furthest away I've ever been. I have never been in BFE. The last 3 years I've been close enough to spit on Centeroo. Despite the odds, there is definitely luck (or karma) involved.
