Well, I just wrestled my tent into place, with much cursing and an assist from my very sensible husband (alas, he's not coming to 'Roo), who helped me decide to ignore the directions provided by Coleman and come up with a sensible approach to that darn rainfly.
Lying in it, on the cot (which takes up nearly the whole tent!), and staring at the ceiling, I found myself wondering whether there are safe ways to embellish the appearance of the tent (without making it leak or something). I'm not wild about looking at that big picture of the lantern and the word "COLEMAN" when I'm in there.
I wonder whether I can tint my seam-sealer and print paisley on the ceiling?
I don't know how spray paint will react with the vinyl. i suppose it'd become brittle.
I'd grab a tie-dyed beach towel and hang it in the center on the roof, so you can throw items ontop of it for storage. and look at a big swirl of TieDye as you lay down.
I feel like there has got to be a way to do it... I just dont know what it is... Ahh well... I likely don't have the patience to actually do it anyway... heh.
