The site says UPS 2nd Day Air. They are mailed Wed 5/30 so they should arrive Fri 6/1 (or maybe 5/31 for we who live close) Signature required only if you requested it and paid $2 extra.

It's UPS for everybody.
And yeah, it's a great feeling to hold the tickets in your hand after having ordered and paid for them months ago and waited until the beginning of June.
UPS - my man in brown did a little dance around my office with me last year - then he stopped and said "What are we dancing for?" Once I told him, he thought it was pretty cool.

The tickets are going to be signature required and they will only attempt delivery twice, if i'm not mistaken, then you'll have to go pick them up from their hub. So my advice to anyone that knows they won't be home to sign, leave a signed note asking them to leave the package (deliver to office if you live in an apartment) or have a neighbor sign for it if you know they'll be home the day of delivery.
If by chance the package has to be signed "in person", the attempt notice they put on your door will have a number to call. It's not uncommon to call them and find out if the driver can reattempt delivery that day, if not, ask them if you can meet with the driver at a dropbox or somewhere convenient for the driver because if it's out of their way, they may blow you off and make you wait till the next day, which you won't be home to sign for again.

One thing I have noticed is that every year I request no signature required and yet they still come signature required. Kind of annoying since I'm always at work when they come and the pick up hub is 25 minutes away. But the hassle is quickly forgotten when I get those lovely tickets.
My UPS man already knows all about our trip....he's been delivering all of our Roo supplies since March and we know him well now! Can't wait to see him again!!! ;D

unfortunately - I cannot be sick the day they arrive because I need to conserve all my time - I will prob call in sick the Tuesday after Roo. Soo - they will leave a note on my front door and I will have to drive to the UPS place and pick them up.
Last year I worked for a law form and all deliveries came to me anyway - this year - in a hospital and I don't trust anyone in my mailroom

Wait, do you HAVE to sign for them in person, because I know UPS gives you the option of signing the sheet they leave and then drop it off where you tell them to when they try delivery again. Is this an option, or do you HAVE to have someone sign in person?

it really depends on your delivery driver. my family orders tons of stuff online and nobody's ever home when they make deliveries, and our driver knows from experience that even if its signature required, he just leaves it in front of our garage. maybe you could find out who your delivery driver is and talk to them about it?
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
