Are you talking about the rubbermaid one? It says on the sticker 5 days. Instructions give the best ways to keep your ice and beverages cold for 5 days.
yeah.... it definitely doesn't say "5 day cooler" on amazon there, but that steel one is the one that many campers i've spoken to have recommended as the best at making ice last...
but who knows... i will be using it in a couple weeks for mountain jam, so i'll give a review after that ! ;D

Nice, looked like a good cooler to me - it was what I was considering ordering online (or the slightler smaller 50qt one for about 35 on Amazon), but I'm glad I didn't. Actually we were kind of wondering where all there Coleman 5-days were when we were walking out of the store there was this huge stack of them near the front for for a price I couldn't pass on. I plan on bringing enough ice and frozen water bottles to get my meat to TN on Wed. night, then we are staying in a hotel, and on Thursday morning grabbing ice from the gas station to fill the rest of it up and getting my beers chilling while we are waiting in line.

Top it off with ice from the hotel machine. It's free that way. Back in the day my buddy had a vw van with an ice chest built in. We always stopped at the nearby Holiday Inn to fill up. Nowadays they have security locks on those doors. Plus I'm toooo old to go to jail for stealing ice and swimming for free !! ;D
karma for that tip my friend i have to say thats not a bad idea.. I might just stop at a hotel on our way up and top off are coolers. Thanks for the great tip

Not a bad idea at all... and since we are paying for a room they are unlikely to give us crap.

For anyone still looking for a 5-day cooler Wally World is a good bet - along with the 70qt Coleman 5-day they have right now for less then $40, they also have a 50qt Rubbermaid 5-day on sale for $27. Good deals really for pretty high quality coolers. I'd suspect either one would last you at least 10 years if you are using them 10 or so times a year.
