Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I am partial to the standard propane. The light is adjustable and you never have to worry about batteries. And even though not necessary, acceptable, or appreciated at Roo (you can use it other times of the year you know) it will make serious light for a big area, if needed. As for their hassle level, I have had a self lighting one for 7 years with no problems and have only changed the socks once (the nets that are the light). I always have extra propane so if one ever empties it is a quick fix.
I have a battery operated one (actually 2) that allows you to adjust the brightness. Ive never had any problems with them. We didnt have to change the batteries all weekend

We bought this lantern before Bonnaroo last year. We used it all weekend at camp and Hilari still uses it to read in bed (VERY often). We've still not had to change the batteries once! (When you unfold it, there's a mirror inside.)
