Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
STAY AWAY FROM RED BULL! Red Bull, Stackers, coffee, and almost all energy supplements contain heavy doses of caffiene, which can zap your body of precious water.
My advice is, drink water and take frequent short naps.

This may be up for debate by some of you since I have seen some anti caffeine posts.
Head up to your local GNC and pickup a bottle of Guarana capsules. Its about 10 bucks for a bottle of 100 at 250 mg. These things are incredible when you need a quick pick me up with wanting to drink allot of coffee. Coffee is a diuretic so you want to be careful with how much you drink when your gonna be in the sun all day sweating.
Any input is welcomed on this...
Some would say its the caffeine in the coffee that makes it the diuretic but I am not so sure. I know that I keep a bottle of guarana on my desk at work and I normally pop two around 12:30 or 1 and they keep me from hitting the wall and crashing out during the afternoon.
Whether you take my advice or not always be sure you drink plenty of water. So many things that happen with your body from being tired to feeling hungry are sometimes really dehydration.
Sit during some of the shows (especially during the day). There's no rule that you have to stand for every show. Get a comfortable, easily portable chair, kick back and relax while you're checking out a new band. Easy way to conserve your energy/legs.
I'll second the sitting suggestion. Standing seems to wear me out the most.
The chemical "guaranine" is identical to caffeine derived from other sources, for example coffee, tea and mate. Guaranine, theine, mateine are all official synonyms for caffeine.
I would like to note on this thread that Kidz Jam offers free cold bottled water to children, and in some cases, parents who are in need of it. We will also have fresh chilled fruits such as apples and oranges.
Beating the heat is important for kids at Bonnaroo, and the busy parents who spend four days running after them! If you see a thirsty kid or parent struggling to beat the heat, send them our way for some shade and playground therapy!

Yeah Guarana is totally caffeine.
I gotta say though two of them will definitely put some pep in your step without making you feel all strung out or making you have to take a leak really bad.
I am just speaking from experience, 2 of the 250 mg caps will be about as much caffeine as two cups of coffee but without the diuretic effect of the coffee.
I tell you what anyone who catches up with me at the show I will hook you up and you can see for yourself.

I had a bottle of sublingual B-12 last year, worked great. I didn't feel like i was getting a "rush" like i would with caffeine, but i still felt good.
Water water water water. If you don't drink at least a gallon a day, you are gonna be hurting.
Also, don't be afraid to miss an act or two during the afternoon. Go back to your campsite and sit in the shade for a couple hours, eat a corndog (or 3) and relax.
If you push yourself too hard on thursday and friday, you'll totally miss out on the last 2 days.
