Hey All, Just planning out my trip and wondering what kind of ideas you had for you layout of tour campsite....
Below is a pic of what our general site may look like (in Tent Only).... It will be about 10ft long and 22ft wide... is this possible or is there not enough room in tent only... we'll be getting to manchester at around 12am Wed... Thanks!!!
I think it would work out fine, you should have room for that. Especially if you get there early. Tent only is kind of a free for all, just come in and grab a spot.
I am leaning toward this Idea, right here, as long as someone is willing to either
a. loan me a corner of canopy
or
b. let me stretch a tarp from their canopy
I wont have enough room to bring a canopy, as I am either bumming a ride down, or taking the bus..

Apart from the poo in Mr. Sun's mouth, that's a pretty interesting setup... Running a tarp from the canopy and throwing your tent under that, leaving canopy/shade/hangout space maximixed. My only question is: Would a setup like that allow for enough airflow around the tent to help keep things cool?
You can use things like Ive heard things like metal hooks, or "s" hooks, zip ties, or carabiners. Though, I've never done it myself, so I can't say which is best. Someone will chime in who knows.
I guess I should add to attached to a vehicle you can shut the carp in the doors or I attached to the camper top on the truck or insert poles between the cab and bed and attach to them.
So when setting up your canopy and sleeping tent, which is most important for good air circulation: Room around the sides of the sleep tent or room over the top of the sleep tent?
I ask because I just put up our new Coleman GeoSport 15x15 canopy today (thank you ebay!), and while I know our sleep tent will fit underneath, I don't think there will be a lot of room for circulation between the top of the tent and the canopy, but circulation around the sides shouldn't be a problem.
Edit: Funny, I see I asked a similar question already in this thread, didn't even realize that. Regardless, any input?
