Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Howdy, folks. I've not been to Roo before tho I have long heard of it. I am writing here to try to get some more information about volunteering. I already filled out the online volunteer form and emailed the volunteer people, tho I would love to hear some feedback from you all.
I am a National Registered EMT-Intermediate, having worked on an ambulance full or part-time for the past 5+ years. I also also spent the past 5 summers attending the Rainbow Gathering where I have volunteered in the make-shift clinic. In addition, I volunteered as an EMT one summer at the Philly Folk Fest, which was an interesting experience.
I am wondering if anyone knows if Roo is in need of volunteer EMTs and when I might hear back from them. Also, if you know of anyone who has volunteered in such a capacity, I would love to hear about your/their experiences.
I am bookmarking this thread in hopes that I'll hear all sorts of good stuff.

Hey,This will be my fifth bonnaroo working as a paramedic and I also work for the local ambulance service too (I get the double whammy). In order to work Bonnaroo you will need a Tennessee State License and tennessee doesnt recognize the Intermediate level, so you'll be considered a basic. It maybe too late this year to apply for a license in time, but the company that contracts out the service is National Even Services...there website is www.nationaleventservices.com, and look for lori-ann. She will be able to give more information. Hope this helps.
