Last year was my first year, and i went RV. This year me and my friends are taking our cars. what are the chances of us staying in line together in order to park next to each other.

Yeah. They expect people to be caravaning to Roo. They are more than happy to accomodate your group. If one of your cars gets searched, just tell the parking/gate people and they will let you pull-over and wait. You should have no problems at all.
