^^^hey cheeky monkey!!!
i've never been to the roo but i've been to an assortment of fests & my favorite elaborate campsite included a kitty pool (might be a great addition to beat the tenn heat).
I've mentioned this before but my neighbors last year had EVERYTHING! They rented an Enterprise van to bring it all. Here's a list of some of what they had...
home built 10x10 sun tarp canopy + individual tent for each of the 6 guys a generator 2 industrial fans a huge tank of water microwave dry ice freezer 3 coolers coffee table & 6 chairs shower and a kitchen sink
BEST neighbors EVER!!! They shared it all... here's a pic of them...
i hate that tent. hate it i say! i'm not a mean guy, but if i saw that at roo (or anywhere else) i think i'd stop, point and laugh. or poop in their toilet.
we have a huge two-room 6-8 person tent (10x15). It's about 7 ft at its highest point (you can do jumping-jacks in that joker). last year we put up 8 ft pvc pipes and ran tarps across the top (over the tent). we also ran tarps from two of the end-poles to the car for "porch shade". and we had a shower and a portable toilet. i remember hearing a passerby say, "that's not a tent. that's a f*cking castle".
this year's going to be even bigger. we're buying a 12'3 x 20 peaked canopy with battery-operated tiki lights to hang around it. here's a link to the photo.
