like to start off by saying this site rules, my head is about to pop with all of the info on here. Which would you vets advise for a neewbie, car camping or tent only? If theres a thread with the pros & cons of each please point me there, like I said my heads about to pop!

I'd say it depends on the other people in your group. I'd recommend tent-only, but not if your groupmates pack too much stuff or feel they need the security-blanket of having their car nearby. the biggest pros are a short walk to the stages and the neighbor campers.
