we took one last year but the batteries kept falling out and if you were in a crowded spot it seemed to just make it more humid. very nice though out in the open
Get a mister from Walgreens. You pump them to make pressure - like a bike pump - and the mist sprays out very fine and very pleasing to you and your neighbors.

so last year i had one of the crappy walmart spray bottles with the battery powered fan on it and it sucked like i stated earlier. batteries kept falling out and such. i went to walgreens hoping to find one of those misty mates mister deals that moonbeemz mentioned but all i could find at the one in town was the O2 cool xtreme sport bottle mister but it looked like it may be worthless so i didnt get it. anyone know of any other place to get the mistymates stuff other than online? really dont want to haul that walmart thing around again

I have not had any luck with the battery powered kind so I will look for the other ones listed.
If you want it to stay cool, then use some cooler water. It will be very cold at first but later in the day it stays cooler longer. Plus you will have the coldest AC at the Roo.
I got one of those mistymate things at Walgreens last year too. Best $7 I ever spent. Too bad I lost it by Saturday afternoon. I guess I gotta get a few of them for this year.
YES!! The one thing I wished I had had last year....I LOVED the peeps around me that had them and shared! ESP at the White Stripes...whoever you are...I LOVE YOU!! I will be getting several for this year..... ;D And Sharing! ;D
Every time I saw someone with a spray bottle of water last year, I would just BEG. They were awesome! We're bringing multiple, no doubt about it. I don't think the fan matters as much as the cold water, IMO.
They come in blue, green and yellow so I'll know if he's lost his and is sneakily trying to boost mine!
