I just thought of something that could be a good idea. Instead of trying to bring a blanket to sit on in Centeroo, I can bring my yoga mat instead! Even if the ground is all wet, no water can soak through, and it dries pretty quickly. Of course, I'll still need to buy some chairs...

I am making my own mini neat sheet...
Get an old sheet, cut it to the size of a towel, then get some velcro strips (the sticky kind) and cut a shower curtain to the same size. USe the strips to put them together.
Then, you can have the sheet for a sun-shawl-thing if you want it, and just slap on the plastic to sit if its wet. Fold up small, fits into a backpack or small bag easily.
Take a chair! This is roo number 5 for me and I am telling you if you want to be able to feel your ass by Sunday take a chair. It seems like it would be a pain to carry any sort of chair all weekend but I am telling you it will be your best friend by Sunday night.

I agree, meatman.
But if you are looking for an ideal roo blanket, check out this thing I bought:
It is 100% waterproof, padded, and folds up into its own carrying case. I won't bring it everywhere, but for those days when you're camping out all day in front of the stage, it's an ideal blanket.

I gotta agree with meatman. A chair is a bit of a pain in the balls to a haul around but once you're all setup in centeroo it's about the greatest thing ever. This one is amazingly comfortable and pretty portable considering the shoulder/back pack straps.
for the past two years I've used a chair similar to that ^^^ it has a large puch on the backside that works just like a backpack, you can fill it with whatever you may need for the day and also, put a few beers in the middle before you fold it up, and voila.. Your all set for a day of good times!
Tried it out last weekend, and the solid color side is completely waterproof. Folds up into it's own little bag...has a pocket on the outside.
Hey Brook.....I saw those things, too, but I was worried about the fact that they're "water resistant" vs. "water proof." That's why I spent the bucks for the Mega Mat. It was quite a bit more expensive, but if it gets muddy (because of rain or lord knows what else! ) it should keep me dry.
I prefered it over the other one because it collapses down for easier portability. I bought mine from REI during their sale, and absolutely love it. I know I will be VERY comfortable, while waiting out the Police on Saturday....
