i remember in 05 we had hardly any space and the website says 10 by the width of your car...well i got a sweet coleman tent for xmas and its 12x9 ft and seems like it will be too big...do ya think i will be able to use it? what size tent are you all using?

we were thinking just put a tarp up from the top of the tent and to the top of the tundra w/ the camper shell open i hope w/ the size of our truck we still have room for it
i myslef am bring a kelty zen 2 man tent.. its real small and light for hicking, but i also have a canopy thats 12x10 and my friends who are coming with me have a 8 man tent.. i think we are gonna have to bribe the neighbors with beer for some land...

I was getting impatient so threw my bed to the wall and pitched my tent in my room.... I spent 170 on it i think. it's a really small 2 person, my air matress is as big as the base of it.

I have a North Face Vector 22 2-person backpacking tent. How I wish I had a shade tent to hide under. Anyone have any ideas about how to shade my little tent with a very small tarp? I can be so pathetic, but quite entertaining

you can borrow my extra 10'x10' tarp (i'm bringing a few) and a couple of it's poles. if you are camped near me i'll hook you up.. i'm kind of a shade guru ;D j/k, but i do tend to take my shade seriously. bring a compass, set up your shade to block the east (sunrise), that's really the most important tip for shade.

Thank you soo much! I don't have any of that right now and if I want to eat in the next month, I need to not buy anymore stuff. I don't know how I will find anyone, but if you see a chick with red hair trying to shade her tent, that would be me. thanks again, karma to you!!
