Yea I'm a Jager and Red Bull drinker myself. You can get absolutely smashed and still be extremely alert. Hah!
Last year at Wakarusa I bought a 1.75L gift set w/ the pewter Jager deer shot glasses like this one for the festival.
I made a TON of Jager bombs for random passserbys that saw me pouring a handle of Jager and Red Bull on the hood of my truck in the campgrounds. Good times.
At any rate, Jager ONLY comes in glass no matter what size you get so I'll have to put it in a couple 2 liter bottles, or maybe just an empty gallon jug...
so when is it that they search for glass bottles ? if i'm coming on the shuttle from the airport they gonna search me when I get to camp ?
When you're in a car, they search you as they take the tickets to get into 'Roo. I've never taken the shuttle, so I have no idea when they search you for that. Sorry.
i think that was unique - but maybe not. the driver said - "this might delay us a bit, but if no one minds, we will be stopping at the local liquor store."
Hide it in nalgenes. Wrap that up with your tent. Then when you get there take it out put it on ice. Cops pull you over and find that .... then you must have already done something wrong. A well hidden plastic bottle of liqour is a hard thing to find. Be Creative.

I've always theorized that you have to have a hefty chunk of English blood in you to put up with Gin. Crazy Britons (speaking as a pure-blooded Englishman, of course--I blame my love of Vodka on my (adopted) Russian cousins).

they search when you come in the gates in your car... quick glance thru trunk, check the coolers for bottles
probably youll get searched getting on the shuttle at the airport

This does't mean you should feel free to bring a bunch of glass with you, I still don't want to cut myself on someone's broken bottle. But it should set your mind at ease in case you were planning on bringing explosives with you.

Glass goes deep in the cooler. In the spirit of roo, anything you can package in plastic before you come is good. Things will be fine as you go through the check point with a great attitude and a smile on your face (not a big one).
I work from Roo from sunday till thursday.. i wonder if they will give me time to go out and get goods ... (liqour beer etc .....) I would really like to buy some nice liqour .. goose.. kettle one etc ....

yea, I feels ya here. we at cleanvibes got monday off before our shifts start on tuesday
I just got back from the liquor store and was dismayed at the selection of plastic bottle hooch. I got 2 Early Times bourban and a Gordans Vodka. I also picked up 5 boxes of wine as there seemed to not be a wine limit.
I saved an opening for 1 more bottle of plastic liquor iffin I can find something of quality.
Everyone's invited to my site for cocktails and such. bob
well jager is best cold, SO......What i do is wrap it up in white trashbags and put it at the bottom of my cooler, you pile bottled water and other stuff on top of it and they will never be able to see it, and it will be way to cold to go snooping at the bottom of a cooler

I got the Rum, Caliber Brand 80 proof, in a 1.75 liter bottle, just ten bucks @ Wal-Mart Supercenter. I know I'm cheap, but nothing that a coca cola mixed with it cant fix.
