So this is my first message board post, my first bonnaroo, and my first experience sleeping on the ground for over a week.
I have a situation that I haven't really seen addressed anywhere else, and I wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts.
I'm a pre-festival volunteer. A friend of mine and I applied together and somewhere along the way I was approved and he wasn't. We didn't really think this was a problem until recently. We're coming from Nebraska, and really want to ride and camp together. Does anyone who has volunteered before or knows someone who has have any suggestions on how to make this happen?
Also, he was planning on just dropping me off at the volunteer area on the 10th and then visiting relatives and doing other TN-related stuff while I'm volunteering, and then coming to meet up with me later... I guess my question is, in the volunteer campground am I going to have major issues if I don't have my car with me?
We really wanted to ride together because of the price of gas and everything else, but would it be easier/much more convenient for us to both drive down? That seems a little silly to me... but it's starting to look like that might be an option?
Any thoughts you guys have would be fantastic. Thanks and see everybody in a couple weeks!
