this year is my first ever bonnaroo and i couldnt be more excited. i just have a few things on my mind about what i should expect from such an unexpected experience. im taking 2 tents which i hope i can put up both. so i guess my first question is will there be enough room for 2 tents so our friends coming down can crash with us?
my other main consern is food. i plan to buy atleast 2 meals a day and my biggest fear is not having enough money. how much do 2 good meals cost and what is my best way to go? (more food for less money)
regardless of everything i cant wait. thanx for any help.
I would do a search for the camping question.. there are different perspectives on it. As for the food - you can get food for cheap at shakedown, but not as cheap as buying some pb&j materials, know what I mean? Up to you on how much you want to spend. Biggest expenses for me are water, beer, and food. But that's b/c we choose to not cook and buy on-site anything that's heated. Roo is really what you want to make it...

Browse through the threads and you will find your answers. Although I am pretty sure if your tents aren't too big you should be able to put them up.
You can find good cheap food outside of Centeroo in the campgrounds/Shakedown area, and there is free well water inside also - just bring an empty water bottle in with you. The food inside Centeroo is not cheap but most "meals" are under $10 and its mostly really good stuff - lots of selection also. Keep in mind it is probably going to be very hot and you are likely not to want to eat much, but will need lots of liquids. I didn't really eat much all weekend last year and I am one of those people who like to eat 3 meals a day I think I maybe ate 1 once the sun went down and some light snacks during the day.

^^ totally agree, i was not very hungry most of the time and ate 1 meal a day plus snacks. if you're planning on eating 2 meals, $20 a day would cover that very comfortably. and there's always the $1 garlic grilled cheese vendor on shakedown to fall back on! yum! in addition, if you can bring along some granola bars, dried fruit, jerky, etc with you, you can save yourself some money by munching on those for the majority of the day.
and yes you'll have enough room for two tents just be sure to lay them out on the ground as soon as you park so you stake out your land

I'm planning on bringing most of my food. If I were you I'd go to a local outdoors store or something and check out their "just add water" foods. You'd be surprised how amazing a meal you can get from those things.
