Is there an Inforoo Car Camping site. I would love to be in the tent only, but I have too much crap to pull along! Is there anyone setting up an an Inforoo Car camping site??

Nah =- just meet up with a bunch of us at Wal-mart and I am sure you will find plenty of people to go in with - that way there will always be an inforooster nearby!

^^^ you'll see me in the car camping section! Unless I can find that nice handy capped parking hanger ( my boyfriend had leg surgery and they gave it to him) then we'll be in the handy capped section RIGHT BY THE ENTRANCE TO CENTAROO! *crosses fingers*

You better be careful doing that. Those things are registered to a specific person, and for injuries like a broken leg, they expire.
If the (real) cops catch you with that, they may deny your entry!

Just so you'll know... Teny-Only is closer to Centeroo than much of the Handicapped parking.

Not real sure - there is another thread about a meet - up at Walmart that we started - so I know there are lots of us that will be there - it really just depends on when they open the gates and all
I've already accepted that any plan we may concoct will be out the window as soon as we get there...we were kinda planning on coming in early Thursday, a little before noon, in hopes that we could get a spot around Shakedown, but I also like the idea of camp P ussy Galore again...I just wish it were a guarantee...you guys were in the same camp last year, actually...we were back by the treeline, though.
Just like everything else, I guess it's all play-by-ear.
Yeah - we were there - about 3-4 rows from the treeline - straight down a clearing "road" from the portapotties - it was really really easy to find our way back to the tent last year.
Now sure what we are doing tho - I would not mind being back there again but if I can wait and try for a better spot - we might do that
If someone wants to organize a Car Camp Inforoo...I am there! I am flexable, Ill be going to Tenn at night and may go to the wally world to see whats up!

unfortunately the only way to organize a car camp inforoo would be to meet outside the festival and drive in together, otherwise the parking would be all over teh place

It's funny how close we were camped to Meg n' Boz last year, seriously no more than a couple hundred feet away.
I'm down for a meetup, but when I get the notion to move (and my friend's the same way), it's time to go, so I would definitely not want to be sitting around wal-mart forever. That's just me, though. I still think a meetup would be good...and getting stuck back in the separate "BFE" campground really isn't as bad as some of you think...ask Meg!

nope - it is pretty cool really - Hey opps - did you check out the drum circle that started up Wednesday night/Thuesday morning? We heard it - it was really close but none of us coupld move to invetigate and whenever one of us mentioned it - all of us would end up laughing way too hard to go look for it ( ya know?)
Also - with all the laughing we were doing - until the sun came up - you may have heard us - we were pretty loud (sorry to the two females camped seperately by us that moved away the next day - I promise we were not like that for the whole weekend)
We were in the Wal-Mart lot (waiting for people ) late Wednesday, and never heard a drum circle near camp...we got in at dawn and set up as the sun was rising Thursday...we were one row from the treeline, and I almost moved my tent into the woods. We were right at the curve at the top of the camp (on the map).
We had these guys from Maryland caddy corner to us with cardboard signs that said "please support our drug habit" and another with a list of their preferences...all with sunglasses, all sniffing things.

dude, that would suck. Oh well, we might try anyways, because he just had surgery last month, so I dunno.. it's all gravy baby! If we have to walk a really far way, it's alright with me. As long as i'm at bonnaroo!

we plan on getting to wal-mart around i dont know really somewhere between 11pm wednesday and 1am thursday, wouldn't mind riding in with someone from here to assure cool neighbors
I would be down for an Inforoo car camp but it's sort of hard since I really don't know what time on Thursday we are getting there.
Maybe we could do some sort of buddy system thing since we are all coming in at different times? Like post what time you think you would be getting to Wal-Mart and then if other people would be getting there at the same time, you exchange info or whatever and meet up? Just a suggestion but it seems like it would be easier than trying to coordinate large groups of people.
As for myself and boyfriend, it's looking like Thursday afternoon 2 or 3ish.

Y'know, at our april festie, our neighbours constantly went to sleep at 11pm and then one complained that we were loud at 1am.. when we werent even all that loud at all
It is everyones responsibility to BRING EARPLUGS!!!! if you want to sleep early, people WILL be loud You will be surrounded by people on all sides, and chances are atleast 1 campsite will be loud at night
