So, for my 500th post I wanted to solicit ideas for getting into the RV section with a Nissan Quest. (its a minivan) I have the RV pass, but the RV fell through. Last year we tent camped in the RV section by chance and we loved it. Anyway, besides bribing the parking guy (which I am not beneath doing), I was looking for ideas of what to say to help get me and my buddy into the RV section. For example, I thought of saying "I left my RV in San Francisco." An other ideas?

you could always explain to them that your other vehicle is a scooter, therefore, this is like driving an RV for you "Sir, look at that backseat! Don't tell me you couldn't sleep 4 in there!!"

My RV broke down in (name a town). I had to hitch a ride with my friend and companion vehicle. I'm planning to get it running tomorrow and get it here. Can we save space for it next to our companion vehicle? That way you will have extra space, too! Don't know how much of a bribe you may have to come up with for that one....

The companion vehicle has to go in with the RV. I have a companion pass I am not using...email me at my username - g mail
Do you mean to say that a car with a companion pass can not enter seperately from the RV? I read somewhere that companion pass cars are parked in a different parking area from the RV's, but in close proximity to them.
From the Roo site:
They will NOT be allowed to park their cars directly next to your RV. There will be Companion Vehicle campgrounds next to the RV campgrounds to park one companion vehicle per RV. You must purchase a Companion Vehicle pass with your RV pass if you plan on parking a vehicle in the RV companion vehicle campground.
