I'm sure this has been covered somewhere but I haven't seen it yet.I've read all kinds of info about what to bring to Roo but what about when I leave my campsite and go to Centeroo?
So far I have in my Centeroo pack:
1.pair of sweats in a plastic bag (in case it gets cold at the late night shows)
2.Hat (In case of rain)
3.Umbrella
4.Emergency poncho
5. Camera
6.Baby Wipes
7. Walmart bags
8. TP
9.Money, keys, cellphone, etc.
10. Towel to sit on (as well as 100 other things, see "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" for complete list.)
I also opted to go with a shoulder slung tote intead of a backpack because I feel like the pack will be sweltering on my back and I'll just end up toting the pack anyway. My shoulder tote is a lot lighter than my backpack.
Also, any problem getting any of this stuff into the concert area?

That is a good list and no you won't have any problem getting any of it into Centeroo it is all allowed, mmmm not sure about the umbrella........ Don't forget extra batteries for your camera. You are also allowed to take snacks. I will be taking a few granloa bars.
freeze some water and take it in with you thaws as the day goes so you have cold water..also the clorox wipes to clean the porto potty seat before you sit..the porto potties in centeroo do get nasty

What about the tote? Am I screwing up not taking a backpack? I just can't see that thing stuck to my back all day.
I had a small shoulder bag last year and was fine with it. This year I will be in Centeroo the whole time (I am day parking) so I am going with a Camelbak with lots of pockets. Make sure also to take sunscreen, you need to apply more than once during the day in that TN sun.
Wallet cell phone poncho snacks sun screen(the spray on kind makes life allot easier) some form of spray deodorant(shower in a can as we call it, I dont mind being dirty but when I can smell myslef I have a problem) pad a paper for setlists, screen names, emails adds. etc. and a little gold bond to shake in the crocs every once in a while to keep everything dry
What about the tote? Am I screwing up not taking a backpack? I just can't see that thing stuck to my back all day.
The last two years I used a backpack, and although it held everything I needed and more, it became a constant frustration getting through crowds, it caused me to sweat, it was heavy, etc. This year I am bringing a tote. It doesn't hold much, but I'm going to try to make it work. I will be throwing the backpack in the car, just in case.
Sometimes i tied it around my waist, cause the shoulders will get sore, youll be switching it back and forth all day. still, id take the tote over the backpack any day
