What do people do with the coals from their grills when they're done? I wouldn't want to dump coals around all those cars and campsites...and I wouldn't want to walk away from a smoldering grill either....any thoughts?
I'd use a gas grill but I'm flying and don't want to spend the money just to leave it behind....in a garbage of course.

It's the same as if you were grilling in your backyard. Leave the coals in the grill until they are spent and full extinquished, then dispose of them properly in a large garbage bag and put in a trash barrell but not until you are 100% sure the coals are extinguished.
