I just joined this wonderful forum after finding it yesterday, and I just had to ask a question about something I've been thinking strongly about but have not seen mentioned on this board.
Has anyone every camped out in Centeroo for the better part of their stay at the Roo? One of the things I love about Bonnaroo is how it's open 24 hours and basically never stops until the very end. I feel this year I may take advantage of this and simply live in Centeroo for a day or two.
It was just a fleeting thought of course but as I think more about it it becomes more and more appealing. Clearly I'll have a campsite with my car and extra clothes, but I'm going to at least give it a try friday night living out of my camelbackpack ;D for the day. What tent could possibly be better to sleep under than the Other Tent? It's all going to be in the packing but if my Friday night goes as it looks it may (late I'm hoping) then I may barely have the energy to walk back to my campsite.
Can't camp IN Centeroo. They won't let you bring all your stuff in. I've seen people who sleep in Centeroo but it's in the grass or on a blanket. Your alcohol/food/tent must stay outside.
On a blanket under a big tent should be fine for me, no way my shitty little tent is going to be more comfortable than that, especially in terms of the heat. It'll probably just end up being more along the lines of passing out and waking up in Centeroo and then walking back to my real "campsite" to get ready for the next day.
