I didn't drink much during the day last year. It was just too freakin hot for anything but water. But my rule about drinking while the sun is blazing is drink a water between every beer. Otherwise you will pay dearly
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
So I have another alcohol related question. So they don't want people bringing in glass, which sucks if you want decent liquor. I've heard people saying that you should premix everything and bring it in in plastic containers, but I thought you could only bring in sealed containers. Any insight on this? Or ideas
Everclear & Orange fused Strawberry was a delicious concoction i came up with last year. 1 bowl of corn for breakfast right before walking into centeroo and 1 glass of that on the walk in had me rolling for a few hours...
so i was free to drink as much water as i wanted.
i made sure to have plenty of bowls of corn along the way for lunch, mid-day snacks, and dinner... and dessert... and after dinner snacks... oh and midnight snacks...
you could say that! :-) but seriously, i did have some Corn Nuts with me at all times last year, those are a great source of protein and are delicious!
I use the one beer one water rule when I drink during the day. One beer is always followed by one full bottle of water. Works like a charm and keeps me hydrated and keeps my buzz nice and even all day!

The sun and heat intensify everything...to be completely honest, Bonnaroo really isn't all that exciting a place to drink. Trust me. You probably won't feel like drinking a lot while you're there.
I can vouch for this. I am a drinker above all else, and can definitely hold my booze. I've gone the past two years, and I don't think I blacked out once - I actually don't think I even came close to it. Most of the drinking ends up taking place around your camping area, unless you like dropping 5 bucks for a sippy cup of beer in Centeroo. The drinking just makes you tired in the heat more than anything else. I hear of people filling camelbak's with whiskey sours and boxed wine and stuff and I just don't understand it - Why would you wanna get blackout drunk in heat like that? But hey, to each his own, do what you gotta do to enjoy yourself, just be responsible
