Would really appreciate some help ehre regarding my directions Via Boston:
Heres the last portion of the directions...does this seem correct and is there an easier route???
16: Merge onto I-78 W via EXIT 21B toward EASTON PA (Portions toll) (Crossing into PENNSYLVANIA). 107.4 miles
17: Merge onto I-81 S via EXIT 1B on the LEFT toward HARRISBURG (Passing through MARYLAND- WEST VIRGINIA- and VIRGINIA- then crossing into TENNESSEE). 526.9 miles
18: Merge onto I-40 W via EXIT 1B toward KNOXVILLE. 132.8 miles
19: Take the TN-111 exit- EXIT 288- toward LIVINGSTON / SPARTA. 0.3 miles
20: Turn LEFT onto TN-111 S. 18.8 miles
21: TN-111 S becomes US-70S W / MEMORIAL HWY / TN-1 W / SPARTA HWY. 0.2 miles
22: Stay STRAIGHT to go onto US-70S W / MEMORIAL HWY / TN-1 W / SPARTA HWY. Continue to follow US-70S W / TN-1 W. 24.1 miles
23: US-70S W / TN-1 W becomes TN-55 W.
then the rest are just a bunch of random turns to bushy road...any suggestions? Thanks!
Not a bad way to come but you can also take I-81 to I-75 to Chattanooga and come back up I-24W. Either way is just as good. Your way is all pretty good roads and maybe less traffic.
You know anything about coming up 55 from the southwest (Huntsville>>Fayetteville>>Lynchburg>>Tullahoma>>Manchester)? Does that dump me at Bushy Branch Road? Is the traffic likely to be better, worse, or likely the same as from I-24 Westbound (I can go to Winchester and beyond to pick up I-24 Westbound if need be)?

This is the route I'll be taking up from Hunstville on Thursday, blues. I was going to do a crap shoot for a better spot by coming in via interstate till I found out where I had to pick up my press pass, and since the station is just a right turn off 55, decided the lesser traffic was worth the crap shoot.... and the "directions" from the station have all of us picking up passes going in off Ragsdale to Bushy Branch....which makes sense since it's just right around the corner, though I wonder how long it will take to wander through.....

ok, bamabelle/alabamablues, i'm going that route too - so, am i supposed to turn right on bushy branch road? then what? i'll probably see a line of cars or something, right?
